Wing Of An Angel
The story tells the stark reality for men and women trapped in our prison systems: the conditions and the way the system is not designed for rehabilitation.
It also charts my journey of starting a grassroots organisation and the difficulties of being heard in such an archaic system.
But it’s more than a memoir or a ‘professional confessional’. It’s an exploration of human potential in the back of beyond, and it offers hope and the promise of transformation to everyone who reads it.
Wing of an Angel tells the story of an ordinary woman who overcame adverse childhood and adult trauma to succeed in her career and then gave it all up to share mental health programmes with people in prison.
You get to travel the journey of what it’s like to set up a non-profit business. You get to see the inner workings of a UK prison. You will experience the hope of transformation.
But my message is greater than the stories of potential, resilience and compassion. These stories point to something more profound than my journey or the people I’ve written about.
Wing of an Angel demonstrates how each of us can uncover infinite resources within our own consciousnesses, reach our true potential and live a love-filled meaningful life beyond our wildest dreams.
