My life and career have taken me on some unexpected twists and turns. From my early days sailing around the world as a messman and in the bustling world of restaurants to the nuances of account management, my driving forces have always been service, leadership, and inner growth.
During my time as head of education at an international restaurant chain, I met a mentor who opened my eyes to professional coaching. And while that was a revelation, it was my introduction to the Three Principles that really struck a chord. It got me to wake up to and recognize the resilience and mental well-being that we all, mostly unknowingly, have within us.
Seeing the potential of this understanding has led me to work as a career coach and rehab counselor for the “Gränsgångare” project here in Sweden. The project, backed by the European Social Fund (EFS), brings together different agencies with a shared goal: supporting those who’ve found themselves distant from the workforce. It’s all about believing in everyone’s unique potential and finding ways to nurture it.
On paper, I’ve got a vocational university diploma in Sales Engineering and Online Marketing and a certification as a Transformative Coach. But beyond these titles, I’m a father, a grandfather, and happily married to Gunilla, who has been my rock through all these adventures.
I’m also one of the founding members of 3PSE, a community for the 3P here in Sweden and am honored to be one of the translators of the original Sydney Banks videos into Swedish subtitles.
