Dicken Bettinger, Ed.D., received his doctorate in counseling psychology and has worked during his career as a licensed clinical psychologist. Dicken’s entire career has focused on psychological well-being. In 1986 he met Sydney Banks, who shared a profound new understanding of the human mind called the Three Principles that unifies our connection to a deeper intelligence called wisdom and our psychological nature. While living in Vermont, Dicken co-founded one of the first Three Principles training, counseling, and education centers. Later Dicken served as a senior staff at Pransky and Associates in La Conner, Washington for 16 years, where he developed and led corporate and university leadership trainings, team development, and executive coaching. In 2012 Dicken founded his private practice, 3 Principles Mentoring. He offers 4-day immersion retreats for individuals; practitioner development; and advanced training programs. He enjoys leading group seminars in the US and Europe. Dicken is the co-author of a book on the Three Principles called Coming Home: Uncovering the Foundations of Psychological Well-being. Natasha Swerdloff
Natasha Swerdloff lives in Denmark, is happily married to John since 2011, and is a trained psychotherapist. She has been self-employed since 1996 specializing in coaching, communication, and consulting in corporate settings in Denmark and around the world
When Natasha discovered the work of Sydney Banks in 2012, she experienced a transformation of all areas of her life, and then decided to change the focus of her business to share the understanding known as The Three Principles.
She founded The Principles Institute, co-authored the book Coming Home with Dr. Dicken Bettinger and then started the Three Principles school. Natasha believes that one of the greatest discoveries a person can make is that peace and happiness cannot be given or taken away by external circumstances.
Today Natasha is honored to serve on the board of The Three Principles Global community as Vice President, and in that capacity, she is committed to support communities around the world. She is passionate about the vision of bringing the understanding of The Three Principles to people, to help relieve unnecessary suffering and create a more peaceful world.
Judy Sedgeman
Judy has been a Three Principles practitioner and educator for more than three decades, serving individuals and groups from all walks of life in the US and abroad.
Judy is a graduate of Wellesley College (BA), Trinity College of Hartford, CT (MA) and West Virginia University (EdD). She started work as an English teacher in both high school and college; became a prize-winning reporter and ultimately was named Editor of the Sunday Magazine of The St. Petersburg Times. She became an entrepreneur as founder of a medical practice management company. Through that work, she met Dr. Bill Pettit, then a Psychiatrist in Bradenton, FL, and realized that her life calling was the Principles.
She was an Associate with Pransky & Associates for 9 years before joining the faculty of the Medical School of West Virginia University, Morgantown, WV. In her 13 years there, she developed and offered an array of 3P-based services and taught graduate courses grounded in the Principles. She was inducted into the Academy of Excellence in Teaching and Learning at WVU School of Medicine, was one of the founders of the Faculty Development program, and served on the Faculty Senate.
She returned to Bradenton in 2009. She is currently a Mental Health Educator serving individuals and organizations and is a frequent seminar speaker and web program developer in the Principles. She offers regular groups with the Women’s Resource Center.

Derrick Mason
Derrick Mason has been involved with the Principles since 2017, where it made a profound impact on his life whilst serving a prison sentence. He was impacted by the truth and simplicity within the Sydney Bank’s literature, as well as the love and trust of Jacqueline Hollows and the Beyond Recovery team; where he got a true glimpse of himself enabling him to have a better understanding of others and see the love and innocence in us all; and it is because of this, Derrick was able to see the true potential within himself, which had only ever been limited by his own thinking.
Derrick was released from prison in August 2018, where he found the Principles still played its part in impacting his life and which led him to reconnect with the Beyond Recovery team. This gave him the opportunity to be a guest speaker at his first 3PUK conference for Beyond Recovery.
In November 2019, Derrick started working with Beyond Recovery helping to facilitate the hugely successful Knife Crime Prevention Program in HMP Nottingham in conjunction with Nottinghamshire Violence Reduction Unit. He has also helped Beyond Recovery devise a remote 3Principles based curriculum Self Study Pack for HMP residents and he also runs a Virtual Impact Program in the community .
In 2020 Derrick was made a Director of Beyond Recovery and Co-founded Beyond Truth. Derrick very much believes in sharing the principles from the heart and is always open to “seeing something new in the moment” and opening the door to a level of understanding of love that he thinks can change the world.
Marina Galan
Marina is a 3 Principles coach and training professional working with individuals, groups and organizations all over the world. She sees the understanding of the mind and the exploration of the human dimension as the ultimate game changers in life. She is the founder of Tres Principios en Español, a multi-platform project that brings the 3 Principles understanding to the Spanish speaking community worldwide. Larry D. Williams
Larry Williams, has a progressive 30-year career as a Certified Community and Economic Development Professional. He received his B.S. Degree from Tougaloo College and a Master’s Degree in Urban Studies from Trinity University. Larry is also a graduate of the Economic Development Institute at Oklahoma University.
Larry has a sincere passion for non-profit organizational development and has served on numerous Boards of Directors including: Mid-Delta Workforce Alliance; Delta Health Center; National PTA; Houseaboutit, Inc.; HIPPY National Board; and State President of the MS PTA. In addition to previously mention non-profits he founded, Mr. Williams also refers to The Cherry Street Business Association, the New Braunfels Avenue Business Association, and Washington County Personnel Managers Association as his other creative non-profit concepts.
In 2008, he had the distinct pleasure of meeting Ami Chen Mills Naim and her father Sr. Roger Mills at a conference in San Francisco, sponsored by the W.K.Kellogg Foundation. Dr. Mills was giving a presentation regarding his Modello project in Miami Dade County, Florida, whereby he initiated something called Three Principles of Psychology(3PP) based techniques with residents of the infamous housing project. Being a certified community development and economic development practitioner back home in the Mississippi Delta area, he immediately became interested in learning more about this 3 Principles methodology.
Larry,(along with his wife Jannis) remains a true believer in the global potential of the Three Principles to guide the way to a higher level of consciousness for the world. He is steadfast in his belief that 3PP can and should be utilized as a viable community development model, particularly in underserved and marginalized communities.
He has been married to his wife Jannis for 29 years and they have 3 sons, Jarian, Larrence, and Jhacolby.
Christine Heath, the co-founder and executive director of the Hawaii Counseling and Education Center since 1985, has nearly 40 years’ experience as a marriage and family therapist. She met Sidney Banks in 1981 and has been sharing her understanding of the Three Principles since then. She was instrumental in setting up one of the first Three Principles-based clinics in the world.
Christine developed HCEC’s Three Principles-based domestic violence/anger management, outpatient substance abuse, adolescent anger management and victim impact programs. She is certified as a substance abuse counselor and she is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. She provides training programs for graduate and postgraduate therapists. She offers training, coaching, consultation and seminars based on the Three Principles locally and internationally to professionals and lay people alike.

Aaron Turner earned his Ph.D in Anthropology from London’s Brunel University and joined Pransky and Associates, a world leader in the pioneering approach to human potential. During his decade-long tenure there, Aaron played a key role in the expansion of the practice’s work in business.

Linda Spaanbroek, born & living in The Netherlands, is one half of the duo De Slagersdochters (The Butcher’s Daughters) whom were the first to talk about the 3 Principles in their own language. To make the 3 Principles more accessible to Dutch speaking people and spread the 3P’s as widely as possible in The Netherlands and Belgium, De Slagersdochters started a podcast in 2015 in their native tongue. The podcast took off (657,639 downloads up till Jan. 1, 2020) and De Slagersdochters founded Shift Academy (https://www.shiftacademy.nl) for coaching, training and a 3P Facilitator Course, wrote a 3P based book, founded the Makkelijk Leven Community (translates as The Easy Live/living Community) and did a theatershow.
Linda has a teaching degree in business economics and a Master’s degree in Educational Science and Orthopedagogy. She has been an entrepreneur since 2006. When she was introduced to the principles in 2013 she quickly recognized the value of the 3P’s and wanted to share them with other’s. Brooke Wheeldon-Reece, MBA, is the President and CEO of The SPARK Initiative, Inc. – a Principles based, non-profit organization. She is also the co-developer of the S.P.A.R.K. Mentoring Curriculum, which is currently being taught to over 1,000 children in Tampa and around the world. Prior to her work with The SPARK Initiative, she was a national trainer for the Mendez Foundation. She also spent time as a business consultant and curriculum developer for Verizon and Learning.com.
Dave Nichols is retired from nearly 30 years of community work. He is a leader in Three Principles-based community development. Dave was Executive Director of Center for Sustainable Change from 2012 until 2017. Immediately preceding his role as the Center’s Executive Director, Dave (with Ami Chen Mills-Naim) co-directed the Center’s W.K. Kellogg Foundation-funded National Community Resiliency Project (NCRP). For over three years he led NCRP’s on-site work in Charlotte, NC. During his time with the NCRP, Dave served as Executive Director of Lakewood Community Development Corporation, a neighborhood-based nonprofit organization dedicated to revitalizing the economically challenged Lakewood neighborhood in Charlotte, NC. Dave and his wife, Chini, both lived and worked in Lakewood for 17 years and continue to live there today. Dave, a BA graduate of Wake Forest University, a two-year missionary in Nigeria and Liberia, a Masters of Divinity graduate of Andover Newton Theological School, and a carpenter/cabinet maker/kitchen designer, served as Director of Habitat for Humanity in Orange County (Chapel Hill) and Director of Neighborhood Housing Services of Charlotte before starting his work in Lakewood. Dave currently serves on the Board of Directors of Three Principles Global Community (3PGC) and as its Treasurer.
Mark Howard, Ph.D. Dr. Howard is founder of the Three Principles Institute in Belmont, California, USA. He is recognized as one of the pioneers who first brought the three principles into the field of psychology. Since 1982, Dr Howard has been teaching private clients, families, business professionals. He is now devoting his time to mentoring and supporting anyone who wishes to share the principles with love, clarity, and impact.
Dr. Howard has published a paper demonstrating the efficacy of the Three Principles in treatment. Linda Pransky went to graduate school at The University of Washington in 1975. She specialized in psycho-social nursing, because she had an interest in learning how people change. She learned techniques and approaches to helping people, but nothing seemed long lasting and beneficial. When she met Sydney Banks in 1976 she saw a way for people to really change. Her vision became one of helping people seek real and long lasting change. Linda is currently on the executive committee of the Three Principles Global Community, past faculty member for the One Thought Institute and Partner at Pransky and Associates.
Dr. George Pransky is one of the two professional founders of the understanding of The Principles of Mind, Thought and Consciousness. He has taught the Principles for over thirty years to individuals, couples, businesses and colleagues. Dr. Pransky is the author of The Relationship Handbook and over fifty audio recordings. During his career he has served on the faculty of three graduate universities and continues to pioneer this understanding in new industries. Currently he is a partner at Pransky and Associates and on the executive committee of the Three Principles Global Community.
Ana Holmback is an Entrepreneur, a Small Business Consultant, and a Certified Transformative Coach. She studied Math/Computer Science and went to graduate school at University of Massachusetts (Lowell). Her career path has been involved in establishing, organizing and leading successful small businesses.
As a Transformative Coach and consultant, she has had the experience of serving people and creating an environment where people could see, feel, and understand their inner wellbeing foundation. Ana has coached many people in Spanish since that is her native language. For her, having found the Principles, has generated profound changes in both her personal and professional life. She participated in Michael Neill’s Supercoach Academy 2014 and in several retreats with Elsie Spittle, Dicken Bettinger, and George and Linda Pransky among others. Her openness and consistency have brought her to a deeper relationship with herself and her surroundings.
